Is a Chasan and Kallah who are getting married on Lag BaOmer to fast on that day?[1]

Some Poskim[2] rule a Chasan and Kallah are to fast on Lag Baomer. Other Poskim[3] however rule that they are not to fast on any day that Tachanun is omitted. In a case of need, such as a Chasan/Kallah who is very weak, one may be lenient.[4] [The above applies only to the Diaspora. However in Eretz Yisrael, and especially in northern Israel near Meron in which the festivities of the Rashbi are felt in the entire atmosphere, some Poskim[5] conclude they are not to fast.]
