Pleasure walks and public areas:[1]

Some opinions[2] rule one is not to go for walks on Tisha B’av, such as to the marketplace, being that doing so can lead to frivolity.[3] [Practically, this is the final ruling[4], and we are stringent in this matter even on Erev Tisha B’av.[5] For this same reason, one should not walk around in groups on Tisha B’av.[6]]
