The law if one checked herself on 1st day and Bein Hashamshos of 7th/8th day of Nekiyim

Checked herself on 1st day and Bein Hashamshos of 7th/8th day:

If she checked herself on the 1st day and on the 7th day she checked herself by Bein Hashamshos of between the 7th and 8th, then some Poskim[1] rule that she may nevertheless immerse that night.[2] Practically, it is best if the couple is willing and able, to restart the Shiva Nekiyim and delay the Tevila for another seven days. If, however, there is difficulty in doing so, such as it causing issues of Shalom Bayis, or Zera Levatala, then she may follow the above ruling and immerse that night.[3]

[2] The reason: This is due to Sfek Sfeika, as perhaps Bein Hashmashos is considered day, and even if not, some Poskim rule that a check on the first day alone suffices. [Poskim ibid]
