Being a Beinoni:[1] Every person has the power and ability to be a Beinoni at any moment of his life, as every person is able to negate and push away a lust for a permitted or forbidden matter. Every person has complete control of what he does, what he speaks and what matters he thinks about. While what one feels is not in one’s control, it is in one’s control to give that feeling a platform of expression in one’s mind or to ignore it and push it away. Every person should strive to be a Beinoni at all moments.
