Foods that grow from the ground but are finely ground until they lose their original appearance will often have their blessing degraded to Shehakol. This is dependent on a number of factors including, the specified food [i.e. ground flour turned into a baked good actually becomes elevated and not degraded], how common it is to do so and if this is the intended purpose of its growth.
