29th Sivan
1. Wisdom’s Relative Position in Creation and Divinity
- Even though wisdom is the starting point and highest level within creation, it remains vastly inferior when compared to the Divine.
- To G-d, wisdom is on par with the lowest level of action in the created world.
2. The Transcendence of the Divine Essence
- The Holy One, blessed be He, is so far above wisdom that even describing the Divine as “incomprehensible” is inadequate.
- G-d is beyond the very category of intellect or understanding, making all attempts at comprehension as misguided as trying to grasp an idea with one’s hands.
3. Divine Attributes as Sources
- Although Scripture uses terms like “Wise,” “Merciful,” or “Kind” to describe G-d, these are only designations because the Divine is the source from which all such qualities emanate.
- G-d fundamentally transcends these attributes, but they flow from the Divine as the root of all existence.
4. The Mystery of Emanation
The exact manner by which intellect and emotions emanate from the infinite Divine remains a profound mystery, understood only by the truly wise.
