What is defined as a Shinuiy for doing melacha to food on Yom Tov?

It requires further elaboration as to what is defined as a Shinuiy by each specific Melacha and food.[1] The general rule however is as follows: If one does the Melacha in a slightly different way, it is considered a Shinuiy.[2] Likewise, if the Melacha is normally done on food while it is on a table, one can instead do it on food that is on a cloth, for it to be considered a Shinuiy.[3]
