Is one to wash his hands three times before Davening just as one does in the morning or before bread?
From the letter of the law, a single washing suffices. Nonetheless, the custom of many, and so was the custom of the Rebbe, is to wash each hand three times inconsecutively, just as we do in the morning upon awakening, even though from the letter of the law, a single washing suffices.
