8. Foods which appear similar to meat and milk:

Almond Milk: It is forbidden to cook [or eat] almond milk with meat due to Maras Ayin unless one places almonds by the food. [However, Bedieved, or in a case that almonds are not available, according to some opinions one may be lenient if the mixture is not cooked together, but rather eaten together cold.] It is disputed whether one may cook women’s milk with poultry. See Halacha 7D for the full details of this subject.

Breast milk: It is forbidden to cook or eat human milk [breast milk] with meat due to Maras Ayin. If it fell into meat it is nullified with even less than 60x.  It is disputed whether one may cook women’s milk with poultry. See Halacha 7E for the full details of this subject.

In a case of need: Whenever a mixture is forbidden to cook because of Maaras Ayin it is permitted to be cooked for the sake of using it as medicine for an ill person. It may likewise be eaten by an ill person if its eating prohibition is merely due to Maras Ayin. See Halacha 5B for the full details of this subject.
