5. For how long may the comforters remain by the Avel?
Not to talk extensively:[1] It is forbidden [for the Avel and comforters] to talk extensively.[2]
Time to leave:[3] When the Avel nods his head to the comforters in a gesture that expresses his wishes to end the visitation, the comforters are no longer permitted to remain by him [so that he not be a burden onto the Avel[4]].[5] [The comforters are to be sensitive and pay attention as to if the Avel now desires to be left alone, and are hence to end their visitation.[6]]
