May one buy toys for children, and presents for people during Chol Hamoed?
Some Poskim[1] write it is permitted to buy presents for children during Chol Hamoed due to the Mitzvah of Simchas Yom Tov. This applies even if the item is not required for Chol Hamoed.[2]
