Recent Q&A

I just discovered my sibling passed away, and would really like to get a haircut before the funeral. May I do so?

No. However, some Sephardim are lenient in this matter.

May I daven Shemoneh Esrei before the Minyan reaches it if I am in a rush to get to work? I cannot come late to work, I can get fired..

It is best in such a case for you to leave the main shul and Daven Shemoneh Esrei in a side room. If not possible, you may Daven in Shul.
