Recent Q&A

May I place an aquarium plant into my aquarium on Shabbos?

No, as they grow in the water, and hence even if the water in the acquariam was prepared before shabbos, it is forbidden. [Aquarium plants need to be submerged or at least partially submerged in water to thrive.  Keeping them in water also helps support their structure and growth.]
