Chapter 3: Divinity as the True Reality
10th Shevat
1. Creation and its Divine force
- The activating force of creation continuously sustains all created beings, bringing them into existence from absolute nothingness.
- Although creatures appear self-sustaining, their true reality is entirely dependent on the Divine force within them.
- The inability to see the Divine force stems from human limitations, as the physical eye cannot perceive the spiritual life-force in creation.
2. Nullification of Physicality
- If the Divine life-force were visible, the material nature of all beings would be perceived as non-existent.
- The physical world is nullified in comparison to the Divine spirituality that sustains it.
- Without the Divine force, all existence would revert to its pre-creation state of non-being.
3. Divinity as the True Reality
- The life-force from G-d’s “breath” is the sole source that continuously brings creation into being.
- Thus, beyond the material appearance, everything derives its existence solely from the Divine presence and thereby nothing truly exists besides Him.
