1. The Cry for Solitude

  • They have strayed from truth, moving from evil to evil, and do not know Hashem.

2. A Nation Consumed by Deceit

  • Warnings against trusting neighbors and brothers, as they spread lies and slander.
  • Their tongues are described as deadly arrows, speaking deceit while harboring malicious intent.
  • Hashem announces a plan to refine and test the people due to their wickedness.

3. Lament for the Land

  • The prophet grieves for the ruined mountains and desolate wilderness.
  • Both animals and humans have fled, leaving the land barren and uninhabitable.
  • Jerusalem is foretold to become a ruin, with Judah left in desolation.
