Smearing oil and fat

Smearing oil:[1] It is permitted to smear [oil] [See “The Laws of Smearing Oil” regarding using scented oils] ….with ones hand over ones entire body for pleasure. [Thus doing so does not contain the smoothening prohibition.]

Smearing fat:[2] However one may not smear it with fat because it [causes it to] melt[3] and is forbidden for the reason explained in chapter 326 [Halacha 10]
