Mitzvah of dwelling

The definition of dwelling:[1]
The Sages stated that the mitzvah of Sukkah is to make one’s Sukkah his permanent residence and his house temporary for the duration of the festival.[2] This means one must eat, drink, read, learn, socialize, and simply spend time of relaxation [i.e. “Yitayel”] within the Sukkah throughout all seven days both by night and day. If one needs to have a conversation with a friend he is to do so in the Sukkah. The general rule is a person should act as if his Sukkah is his house, and anything that one would not do outside his house he should not do outside the Sukkah.
