Barn/Chicken coop:[1]
A barn and chicken coop require a Mezuzah to be placed on the doorpost of their entrance.[2] However the Mezuzah must be covered in such areas.[3]

The reason: As a) People enter and leave through it; and b) The areas are not dirty enough to be exempted from a Mezuzah. [Shach 286/2] However places which are very dirty are only obligated to have a Mezuzah if they serve also as ones sleeping quarters. [Shach ibid]
Other opinions: The Rambam exempts these areas from a Mezuzah.
